To keep our community beautiful there has been continuous efforts to clean the canal and the riverfront area. The Savannah Riverkeeper's are one of six finalists to win a $30,000 grant for riverfront restoration from Miller-Coors River Network. "The project would restore the site of an old junk yard. Savannah Riverkeeper has already been working on this site for two years, removing over 26 tons of trash.
